Return and Refund Policy
At Northern Boat Brokerage, we specialize in the brokerage of pre-owned marine vessels. Due to the nature of these high-value assets and the legal transfer of titles/documentation, we maintain a strict return policy.
1. No Returns / Final Sale
All boat sales are final. Once the closing documents are signed, funds are disbursed, and the title or vessel documentation has been transferred to the buyer, the sale is considered complete. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or "change of mind" cancellations after the sale is finalized.
2. Inspection and Surveys (Before Purchase)
To ensure complete satisfaction, we strongly encourage all buyers to:
- Perform a physical inspection of the vessel
- Hire a professional third-party marine surveyor
- Conduct a sea trial (where applicable)
All sales are "As-Is, Where-Is" unless otherwise specified in the written purchase agreement signed by both parties.
3. Refunds
Since we do not accept returns, no refunds will be issued after the close of escrow. If a deposit is made to hold a vessel subject to inspection/survey, the terms for a deposit refund (if the buyer chooses not to proceed) are governed strictly by the individual Purchase Offering/Deposit Agreement signed at the time of the deposit.
